We recently completed our 2024 review of Northern Irish technology companies. identifying a total of 757 firms. This represents an increase of 73 new companies formed in the past year or so, compared to the 684 companies we identified in our 2023 review.

Northern Ireland has a strong technology sector that given the age of the tech companies is clearly growing rapidly. There is a strong focus on Software Development and IT services. From our research we can see there appears to be a growing number of startups and early-stage companies, many of which are focused on emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cybersecurity.

Technology Companies in Scotland

We have added all the Scottish companies registered up to December 2022. We have made a start on the 2023 companie . There are 2,462 Scottish technology companies with a website and a further 1,175 companies that have been dissolved in the past eight years. We will continue to review and update the companies on our database.
