Company Connecting continues its infographic series with a look at the tech companies working in the area of IoT (Internet of Things). We have included IoT related skills i.e., Big Data, and Analytics Skills.
The infographic provides information on 196 Scottish IT and telecoms companies that provide products and / or services relating to IoT i.e. 7% of the IT and telecoms companies in Scotland
Some quick stats on the 196 IT and telecoms companies working with IoT(internet of Things):
- Only 8% of the companies have over 50 employees.
- The top three sectors serviced by these companies are Financial Services, Oil & Gas and Healthcare.
- 58% of the companies are older than 5 years.
