Main Focus of the Business
IT consultancy to SME’s and non-profit organisations

What do you do now?
Business Analysis, Project Management and Digital Strategy. I am also a part-time lecturer in Computing and Digital Media and a recently appointed Board Trustee of Birchwood Highland, a mental health charity based in Inverness.

What was your very first job?
Shop Assistant at a small caravan park on the West Coast of Scotland.

How did you get into IT?
After qualifying with a BSc Information Technology, I moved into education, gaining a PGDE(s) Computing from the University of Strathclyde. After 7 years in the classroom, family circumstances led to a move West and I became a self-employed IT contractor.

Interesting fact about You?
I run another small business with my wife, Skye Meadowsweet Ltd, making muscle, joint and skincare therapies based on traditional aromatherapy practices. Although a small business, we sell worldwide even as far afield as Beverly Hill 90210, California!

Favourite Place?
Isle of Skye

Dream Car?
Bentley Continental GT or Aston Martin DBS

Current Aspirations for the business
I would like the business to remain small in size and eventually move from providing generic services to focus on one or two core web/app-based ideas which are currently on the drawing board.
