Main Focus of the Business
Accelerate Corporation Limited is a business and technology consultancy specialising in supporting both business start ups and business expansions.

What do you do now?
I operate as a business / management consultant working in a range of industries, sectors and functional areas. One of my recent assignments was in Madrid where I was helping a major online retail store evaluate the overall readiness of their new e-commerce platform.

What was your very first job?
Delivering morning newspapers.

How did you get into IT?
I was always interested in newspaper and magazine layout so I bought an Apple Macintosh LC and a copy of Adobe Pagemaker. I then signed up for evening classes to learn desk top publishing which led to an understanding of web publishing and what web designers do.

Interesting fact about You?
I love to help out at Tennis Scotland which is based at Craiglockhart, Edinburgh. I am an assistant tennis coach and help out young kids from 6 and upwards. Great to see the GB team win yesterday in the Davis cup. Great performance by the Murray brothers.

Favourite Place?
I love Italy and I feel I have a great affinity for all things Italian. My favourite places are Barga and Lucca in Tuscany

Dream Car?
I have had many different cars, and have a preference for convertibles regardless of weather. I have always hankered after a Mercedes-Benz 280 SL - just love the design

Who would you most like to meet and why?
Roberto Baggio former Fiorentina and Italian international and one of the greatest footballers of all time.

Current Aspirations for the business?
Committed to working and collaborating with interesting organisations on their most challenging business technology issues.
